Thoughts with the People of Japan

The threat of a nuclear meltdown in Japan looms large tonight while the country struggles to find remaining survivors and recover the dead, who are washing ashore in horrible waves. It's difficult to comprehend this level of terror and trauma, let alone know what to do with it, when there is very little to do.

It can be helpful to do a lovingkindness or metta meditation and dedicate the merit of your practice to the people of Japan.

May all beings be happy and peaceful.
May all beings be safe and protected.
May all beings be free of suffering.
May all beings be at ease.
